English Language Centre
Please speak English in the classroom. Speaking English during class time and during your own time will help you learn and understand English.
Please do NOT be late for class.
If you are sick or cannot come to class, you must call the school before class starts. Leave a message with your name, teacher’s name, and the reason you will be absent.
A student cannot be absent more than three (3) days per month for daytime students, and two (2) days a month for evening students.
If you are late or absent too many times, you may be asked to stop your classes as many people are waiting to take this class.
CONCERNS OR PROBLEMS:
If you have a problem or concern with anything in your class please first speak to the teacher. If it is not resolved, please speak to the office staff.
Students may stop their program. If you need to stop because of a job, family matters, or if you have moved, please tell the office immediately.
When you want to come back to study English, please phone the office and we will put you on the waiting list.
STUDENTS MAY BE DISMISSED:
WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
Please bring a binder (not a notebook) with paper and a pen to class.
You do not need to buy any textbooks.
If you change your telephone number or address, please tell the office immediately.
